This process was completed on the 31 August 2010 with earthworks commencing 1 September 2010. The first phase of building started in January 2011 and involved the construction of 3 homes in the first cluster. THese homes were completed in July 2011.

The next phase of building will include the construction of key ancillary buildings, including the Community Hall and Preschool. This will commence in the latter part of 2011. View our building blog to see the full story of the progress on site.

A full tender process was followed, and the contract for the earthworks was awarded to Inhlanhla Civils, and the construction contract was awarded to Brayshay Construction.
