The village is part of a larger community and therefore it is important that the location, design and every other aspect reflect that of the surrounding community. In order for the village to fulfill its mandate of transformation and upliftment, it is essential to encourage participation from the surrounding community. The local community will have access to schooling and use of the facilities and will be invited to become members of the church. Education regarding HIV/AIDS, abuse and poverty will encourage the community’s acceptance of those who have been orphaned and affected by these issues.
