KH31, South Africa

KH31, representing Kloof Harvest Woman’s Ministry has recently launched an initiative called “Be The Change”. The first project is to gather ladies of all ages together to knit squares that will be used to make blankets for the children of Ingane Yami. A large number of ladies turned out on Sat July 17th for the first event and the whole morning was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Young and old sat side by side, sharing knitting techniques and laughter. Some young men even braved the ‘girl chat’ and joined in the knitting. Everyone held together by a common thread- a love for Ingane Yami.

Refreshments were in abundance, accompanied by great conversation and an air of accomplishment when a blanket square was complete. In the end many squares were knit with Tender Love and Care, and the final products promise to look stunning.

Getting creative is so simple and really does make a difference.

The next knitting morning has been set for Sat 4 September, everyone is welcome - don't miss it!
