Transformation requires long term partnership. We cannot do this alone – our desire is to form long term partnerships with organisatons that have a genuine desire to invest in our vision and become part of an initiative that will result in a future generation of young leaders who are filled with hope, vision and passion for our nation and continent. Raising tomorrow’s leaders requires long term intervention, ensuring quality education and creating a platform to equip young people to move successfully into independent living.
Our intention is to engage with an organisation in as many ways as possible - it is about a partnership that not only looks at accessing available corporate resources – both monetary and non monetary; but also looks for opportunity to harness the talents and skills within an organisation and provides a platform to encourage employees to get involved on a personal level and become inspired to make a difference through various individual fundraising or sponsorship initiatives.
Our immediate focus is to complete Phase 3 (hyperlink to Progress) of our development plan; this includes the first five homes and certain key ancillary buildings. We are looking for organisations that would be interested in making a contribution towards the realisation of this goal or would be willing to “adopt a house” and make it their goal to raise enough funds to complete one home and then to consider providing a team of employees to the part of the building process of the home.

Giving pays off long term – Corporate giving and BEE ratings
Socio-Economic Development (SED). SED offers five points on your companies BEE scorecard, in comparison to the top pillars on the scorecard it is an easy five points and it can only benefit your business. SED is defined by Department of Trade and Industry as "Monetary or non-monetary contributions implemented for communities, natural persons or groups of natural persons where at least 75% of the beneficiaries are black people." This is another term for what is commonly known as Corporate Social Investment, very similarly defined as: "A company's contributions (cash and non-cash) to people, organisations or communities that are external to the company. CSI should support a business's CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) agenda."
SED is about more than 5 points on a Scorecard. It’s about a significant opportunity for companies to contribute to society at large, while simultaneously building the bottom line.
Individual giving
We cannot do everything but we can do something. It starts with you!
So often we associate charity with simply making a donation but it’s about so much more than that – we are looking for inspired individuals who are ready to move into action and take a stand to change the lives and destiny of our most vulnerable children. After all it’s not just about charity it’s about justice. It’s about mercy and compassion, and it’s about serving the weak, the vulnerable and destitute.
By partnering with Ingane Yami and raising funds in which ever way you choose you are assisting to rescue orphaned and vulnerable children and women from poverty and destitution and restoring them to a life of hope and a future.
So how can you get involved and make a difference, you can choose to simply make a donation (hyperlink to donation page) or make a long term commitment to sponsor a child or mother in the village; or you can partner with us to raise funds by either challenging yourself and achieving something extraordinary or by organising and hosting an event.
