Merlog Foods is a South African based company which successfully imports frozen boxed meat , chicken , pork ,fish and vegetable products, supplying from the small local butchery through to the major retail store industry ,including major wholesaler/distributors. The three directors, Russell and Garth Hanger and Graham Oberholzer have a strong sense of socio-economic responsibility and have each given back to the local charities and communities in their own way. Getting involved in the Ingane Yami project as a company is an extension of this and the objective is not just for monetary contributions but personal staff involvement.

Lives affect lives, by sowing into others we also are sown into. The staff will be split into teams and sent out with a mission, for example: to plant a veggie garden or play games with the children. Merlog's staff response has been one of excitement and eagerness to be involved. We look forward to a growth in team work and strengthening of relationships between staff members as a result of spending time together out of the normal work environment, and of course being involved in such a worthy cause has its own rewards.
