It has been a 14 month process to get the approval to begin construction of the Ingane Yami Children’s Village. The project management team met yesterday on the land to hand over the final copy of the Environmental Management Plan and give the go ahead for us to begin breaking ground! The atmosphere was one of triumph and celebration as the long wait is now finally over.

The 1st September 2010, Spring Day in South Africa will mark the start of construction - what a significant time to celebrate the birthing of this new and exciting project. Thank you to all our loyal followers and faithful donors who have supported Ingane Yami from it’s inception - our dream of having the first home open by the beginning of 2011 is now becoming a reality.
