The village is situated in KwaZulu Natal, in the Shongweni Valley area (approximately 45 km from Durban City centre) on 30 acres of land with great accessibility and proximity to the communities that are situated close by. It is lush in natural vegetation, providing freedom and space for children to grow and explore the naturally beautiful environment within the boundaries of the secure village. The land is not suitable for any large-scale agricultural production, but there are portions of the land that will be used by the families to plant their own food gardens.
The homes and related buildings have been designed by Werner Cloete of Remorphed Architecture and Design cc.

The Preschool will be attended by all children between the age of 2 and 5 years old. Here they will receive age appropriate stimulation in a loving and creative environment to prepare them for their formal education.
Junior Primary will take place at a nearby private school that offers highly individualized learning to assist children that have come from compromised backgrounds.
The sports field and multi-purpose hall will always be available to the children in the Village in order to keep them occupied in a meaningful way and promote a healthy lifestyle.
The village is part of a larger community and therefore it is important that the location, design and every other aspect reflect that of the surrounding community. In order for the village to fulfill its mandate of transformation and upliftment, it is essential to encourage participation from the surrounding community. The local community will have access to schooling and use of the facilities and will be invited to become members of the church. Education regarding HIV/AIDS, abuse and poverty will encourage the community’s acceptance of those who have been orphaned and affected by these issues.
