Our Ingane Yami children started back at school in January, with eager anticipation as to what the year would hold! We had two new teachers join us this year: Auntie Sam and Auntie Kay.
Auntie Sam has taken on the Grade 2’s (three students), Grade 3’s (one student) and Grade 5’s (one student). Auntie Kay has come on as an intern, and is running our Grade R classroom (two students). Auntie Gaby continues to run the school, while simultaneously running the Grade 1 classroom (eight students).
If you were to spend a morning in any of their classes, it is obvious all three teachers have huge capacity to teach and nurture! As they juggle each child’s individual needs, we see them gently pushing each child to build on their skills to do better. It’s an amazing thing to run a school that the kids love attending!
Pray for our teacher’s this year, as they continually stretch their capacity and the potential of the children in order to see each child walk into his or her full potential.
