Celebrating Mandela’s Legacy
Posted in: Blog, Fundraising on July 20, 2019

We were blessed in so many ways this Mandela Day by different individuals and groups. We also encouraged our children to give of their time, and to be a blessing to those around them.
- We had the team from Justin Bircher Biokineticist’s take our children for their weekly P.E. classes; spending + 67 minutes investing in to our children’s gross motor development and physical fitness.
- The Brownies and Teddy’s from the Queensburgh/Fairfell Unit blessed our children with gently used books, sharing their love of reading.
- The team from School Days blessed each of our children with beautiful, personalized stationary packs; and brought their entire team down to the Village to come and see what we are doing, and learn more about how they can get involved. Our Ingane Yami children did their own 67 minutes of giving-back by joining the children from Kwacutshwayo Primary School in Dassenhoek to clean up the garbage around their school.
