More Than Charity

When we change our mindset from charity to consistent empowerment, that’s when this nation will begin to really change. These companies/organisations are doing just that, and these are a few examples of events they’ve initiated over the last month.
Beloved Long Runs (KZN) Fundraiser: On Saturday, December 2nd more than one hundred runners ran 15km’s in support of Ingane Yami. Dean Wight and the Beloved Long Runs (KZN) group was able to collectively raise over R2200 that morning!
A great example of what we can achieve when we simply use what is in our hands to give; it is always multiplied more than we ever thought possible!
Monteagle Africa Golf Day: Monteagle does it again! They are forever mindful of giving to our kids at Ingane Yami. This time, it was through a special hole at their annual Golf Day, which raised R6,890 for our kids! Monteagle is truly a company that consistently uses it’s influence to uplift our kids.
Monteagle Africa Bake Sale: Not only did the adults at Monteagle get involved in fundraising this month, but the children of the Monteagle staff did too! The children learnt to bake Christmas goodies in the Monteagle kitchen and sold their creations to raise R1,610 for Ingane Yami. Wonderful to see the team at Monteagle training their children to think beyond themselves
Pearly Grey Raffle: The team at Pearly Grey may be situated half-way across the world, but they are extremely close to our hearts. This team does more then simple lip-service to their giving; they find every opportunity possible to give to our children! The latest: a fundraising raffle, which raised over R4500 for our kids! AND they are currently running a Christmas-stocking sale, with all proceeds going to our kids. A truly selfless group of people.
